First off, I was at the game today and sat in my usual seats in section 102. Before the play started Jim Leonhard was signalling for someone to shift to the middle of the field. It looked like he was trying to get Kerry's attention. Needless to say, no one followed through on the call. The crowd was real loud at that point of the game and no one heard him.
I was at the game 2 but read a few existing threads and saw this was already mentioned.... but what I noticed is Kerry Rhodes looking like a Vag.....but that was already covered also...
I knew going into today that Marcedes Lewis and MJD would be the keys to this game for the Jags and that's pretty much exactly how they beat us. Marcedes wasn't used throughout the game, but he made big plays.... How did the fans feel at the half? Was there a collective feeling that this wasn't going to turn out well?
Rhodes plays like he doesn't give a shit about football. It's depressing considering I'm pretty sure he was everybody's favorite defensive player at one point or another in the past few years.
Kerry Rhodes tweeted this yesterday. The less often a man makes declarative statements, the less likely he is to look foolish in retrospect. (paraphrased, Quentin Tarantino) I have often regretted my speech, rarely my silence. (paraphased, Abe Lincoln) Kerry Rhodes is a tool. (direct quote, Jcotchrocket)
Hey, look on the bright side. The more holes we discover each week, the bigger selection we'll have for BPA in April -- which always makes the Draft that much more exciting.
When he got beat on that play, I started thinking if he would focus less on modeling, acting, tweeting, and his charity that just maybe he would make a fucking football play once in a while. I am so sick of seeing Kerry Rhodes and Braylon Edwards on NFL network, where neither of them are ever watching game film, or doing anything to make themselves better players.
The OP is right on with this. I saw Leonard from my seats FURIOUSLY motioning and screaming in the direction of Rhodes before the play...and I just thought... shit, shit, shit this is gonna be bad... Next thing you know Lewis is wide open over the middle after he blows past Rhodes? Goddamn.
