New Orleans Saints: 24 - 10 Ok we lost big but how bad of a game was it for Sanchez? Plus the Saints are going to the SB this year.

Miami Dolphins: 31 - 27 We lost by 4 points

Buffalo Bills: 16 - 13 We lost by 3 points

    Miami Dolphins:30 - 25 We lost by 5 points

Jacksonville Jaguars: 24 - 22 we lost by 2 points

With a rookie QB, a rookie HC, Jenkins and Washington out for the season, top reciever brought in midway through the season we always hang onto the games... we simply can't finish them.

I hate it, it's frustrating and it makes you scream SOJ time and time again but we just need to turn the momentum our way and those games are ours!

Age and talentwise our O will dominate in the coming years and I have faith in Rex in building a strong D.... at the beginning of the season many of us were predicting a 6-10 to 9-7 season... don't get mad if it actually happens!

Plus you know how the Jets are... today we loose, against the Colts we win... this team is going to fall exactly in the prediction 80% of us made. Let's hope we draft 2 strong DL and kick ass in the future... you can't have everything straight away!

PS Leon wants to get the money MJD makes!?!? HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!

thats were losing to shitty teams, by small margins. A loss is still a loss, despite by how many points, how many players are injured, and how many rookie HCs or QBs we have piloting this team....

The trouble is that you can never bank on anything in the future. Narrow losses this year don't automatically mean wins next year. We have some solid building blocks but question marks keep popping up all over the place.

That there is hope and that we are not getting owned by other teams... we just need to put that little bit more of extra work in...

It's not any less pointless than any of the other threads on the front page

BILLS AND JAGS!... THESE GAMES SHOULDN'T BE CLOSE.. miam is w/e.. but to say that these were acceptable losses or that the small margin justifies our teams playing ... NO.. wrong.. they played like shit in the first half this week.. they ended the game like shit against miami... they had 6 TO against the bills..

when they play like shit they lose.. its that simple..

Next year is an even year so we'll be good. It's just how we are

This thread is the only one to make me a little happy. It's true, we don't get beat bad. I know a loss is a loss but lets just accept that after we get embarassed next week the season will for sure be over and we can look forward to a bright future. Sanchez is the real deal, Ryan will be a fine coach and our D will get better with time. Ryan will make us one of the elite (if it's not already.)

It's just not our year. Look at the elite teams in the league. They have veteran QB's and coaches who have been there for quite some time. We'll get there. We will... and then we'll have some other BS fault that would never happen to another team.

  9. I've been reading these optimist posts on this board for almost 10 years. It's the same crap every year.

At what point do you guys just open your eyes and realize there is something SERIOUSLY wrong w/ the overall structure of this franchise? No other team in sports lose games the way this franchise does on an almost repetitive basis.

of those games how many did we lead in the 4th quarter with the defense on the field where a stop would give us the W???

Both Miami games, the Bills game, and today

    Sanchez ain't playing defense

When I look at the games we lost I see a team that folds down the stretch. Good teams come up clutch in the end, bad teams lose. It's not an issue of talent, chemistry, experience or anything like that. They were a good team in September when they came up big in those situations against NE and Tennessee. That team has vanished.

From another poster in another thread (I forget which one, so sorry to the originator, I don't want to take credit for the insight): bad teams find a way to lose close games. That's the only lesson I learn from seeing the final scores to our losses
