Can someone explain to me why they have to wear these Titan uniforms so many times this year. Is it some agreement with the league that they're obligated to wear them or is it just a decision by Jet management at their discretion? I mean its just enough already. I was at the Miami game a couple of weeks ago, and when I walked into the stadium I wanted to puke seeing those uniforms. To me it takes away the home field advantage because they're not Jets. The Dolphins had more green on them and that was sad. Will there ever be a day when we dont see this crap anymore?
50 years of the AFL. The Titans throwbacks are an homage to the Jets before the Jets. Do some research on it. The fact that you called the dolphins gay teal color an actual green makes me want to bomb this thread with pancakes, polar bears and pizza.
The Titans uniforms will not be seen again in 2009. If you were not yet aware of that and if you are a person who hates the Titans uniforms, then rejoice. Open up that bottle of wine or crack a beer and run around your house naked tonight in celebration.
If this has to do with sundays game then your already wrong because rex said at the press conference today that we arent the titans this weekend.
in addition to the numerous threads and replies on this subject, its worth noting that the uniform does not make the team, nor does the uniform remove any sort of advantage playing at home gives you. Its also worth noting that the NFL, and the Jets are a business. Marketing depatments exist bc they make money, which is good for business. so for "why so many times this year" it has to do with history. as for the more general "why", money. fans buy jerseys, jerseys make money, money allows the team to get talent.
