Henne is amazing? Compared to what? What game were you watching? Sanchez had a great game and completely outplayed Henne. Let's review the stats:

    C. Henne:
C/ATT YDS AVG TD INT RATING
    12/21 112 5.3 1 0 87.8

    M. Sanchez:
C/ATT YDS AVG TD INT RATING
    20/35 265 7.6 2 0 100.3

    http://espn.go.com/nfl/boxscore?gameId=291101020

Oh yes, Henne is a god! And we need to draft another QB, Sanchez is a bust! Get out of here you friggin idiot. Miami is still behind the Jets.

You're right my friend. The Jets defense stuffed not only the WC but the entire offense with the exception of that 8 minute drive. Sanchez had a nice second half but couldn't close the deal. Statistically the Jets won on 2 sides of the ball and somehow Ginn beat a Westhoff coached ST unit twice. Something I doubt you'll ever see again. But then will you ever see a team only possess the ball 15 minutes and win again? Funny how the end result on the scoreboard often doesn't tell the story.

We stole one but I'll take the win every day of the week. Especially after that crushing loss to the Saints. I was worried about this team emotionally but they found a way to win.

I agree completely...We should have lost today... We got lucky with 2 Kick Returns for a TD, without them, we lose this game... but Monday Night, we flat out played better than you guys... We earned that win. And like you said, there were a few games this year that the Dolphins should have won but lost, ie last weeks game against the saints...But both games have been great games,

Ted, the fins earned the win, like I said. The point of this thread was that it's not a loss that we should really worry about in terms of what we think of the Jets' abilities.

I disagree. The fins didn't get lucky. They outplayed us on special teams.

The Fins just aren't consistent. =/ It's been the same story every week this season. They're always either dominating or being dominated, scoreboard be damned. They won by the graces of Ted Ginn - While he may not be a good, or even decent route runner, and his hands are just about average, he is a huge threat once the ball is in his hands. This should have been a loss for the Dolphins in the same way that last week should have been a win for them.

That's how the game goes. There's good reason for the phrase "any given Sunday".

The Fins have won 2 games against the Jets in what, 3 weeks? How can anyone say they are both flukes? You are what your record says you are. The Jets are a game ahead of the Fins in the standings and also happen to have lost to them twice. There are no such things as flukes or the better team losing, the team that won is always better. End of story.

Team sport. Win as a team, lose as a team, and that includes Special Teams.

If we played this game 10 times we would have won 9. We had 378 yards of total offense to their 102.

We shut down their offense and sacked Henne 6 times. But give Tedd Gin Jr credit. He stepped up huge for them and the Greene fumble was a killer. It sucks but what can you do. The Special Teams is usually really good under Westhoff. Shit happens.

Just when I think all Phin fans are idiots you show up and prove me wrong. Jet fans are quick to forget Chad Morton running 2 kicks back for TD's against Buffalo including the winner in OT. I'd hardly say you guys stole the game and I hate saying one team lost it because Miami made plays but it's frustrating to know we were on the doorstep of getting a much needed win and we screwed up. The blame falls on the Jets for not winning but Miami definately won the game regardless of what the offense did. I believe it was the Ravens who went like 5 games w/o scoring an offensive TD and still won the SB.
