I've been saying for years bro (and I'm not all that old mid 30's) that I'd likely never see this team win a SB. They just aren't ever good enough.
Not my problem... Sorry that this franchise took a step in the right direction and drafted a franchise quarterback. I love how a lot of you have such high expectations (for no reason) and you just give up on this team when things are going well. This isn't that good of a team...at least not yet it's not.
don't die without a super bowl win. Redeem yourself. Become a Dolphin fan and the force will be with you as we win the Super Bowl!
This is right. The problem is expectations got WAY elevated early in the season. The bottom line is this was an entertaining game to watch (but heartbreaking). Losses like this will become wins next year. This is an 8-8 type team. Next season expecting a jump to 10 or 11 wins isn't crazy.
Perhaps the one good thing about being over 45 is that I do have a SB win under my belt. That doesn't make this season or the last 38 years any less painful though.
Exactly!!! The Jets won early and the overhyped train got rolling, when it got derailed, most Jet Fans lose their minds. Unrealistic expectations!!!! I never expected the Jets to better than 8-8 with a rookie QB.
The Jets literally are a team with a better chance to win the Super Bowl than the Dolphins. And we aren't even good apparently. How can anyone expect us to go 8-8 after losing to Miami and then at home to Buffalo and Miami? haha.
Well you see, people that have actual football knowledge realize that having a rookie quarterback involves a rebuilding/growing process. It doesn't matter how you start a season, it's how you finish. As long as Sanchez keeps getting better as the season goes on, this team will be in great shape, no matter what the record is.
seasons not over- we can beat jacksonville after our bye, lose to the pats (I hope not but in NE its more probable), then we have like tampa, carolina and buffalo which are all games that we should win. If we can get to 8-5 our last 3 games will be a real test of the progression of our team. With Falcons, colts on the road, and bengals. If we can beat the falcons or colts the last game of the season could very well be for a wildcard berth.
lol I dont know what I was thinking, that loss must really have gotten to my head. I got A's in all my english classes too.
