What?!! The Jets-Phins rivalry is 10 million times bigger than Jets-Pats. That Mangini debacle blew the NE rivalry out of proportion.
I think Jets/Pats appears bigger to the Jets fan bc of all the crap that has gone on over the years w/ Bellicheck, Spygate, Knocking out Bledsoe helping the emergence of Tom Brady etc. I think Miami is right there as far as all the trash talking goes and is only getting better since Miami has actually won a couple of games for a change.
To a certain extent yeah, But our main rival has always been this Phins and always will be. Once the Pats fade away well they'll do just that, fade away-
Short term rivalry with the Pats. Especially since Parcells and then Mangini. Throw in the HC of the Pats leaving us flat and Spygate and we have had plenty to fight over. But Miami/Jets goes back to (and my recollection) the Mud Bowl. I have despised the Fish since. Marino/ Obrien shootouts, fake spikes, Erik McMillan, Jason Taylor, the Midnight Miracle, Chad traitor, etc.

Fake spike game if you were there you know what I mean and are still stewing about it 15 years later (an anniversary) even though the MNM took some sting out of it it still hurts.
There was a siren for the Buffalo game but is sure was not the one they used in the game against the Patriots. Damn them for coming up with a good idea to toss it to the wayside and use second rate crap to fill in. Just yell louder tomorrow. I will.
