it seems like revis been mentoring lowery, every time they show the sidelines there always sitting together..It's nice to see revis being so young take a leadership role like that. I saw a article in the beggining of the year with Lowery saying how much he learns watching revis play. I'm still not sold Lowery is a full time starter but he's been playing well

Lowery has looked much better this year than last, hopefully the improvement continues and if he ends up being half the corner Revis is I really like the potential of our defense for years to come

I'm impressed with Lowery, but for him to say how much he's learning from Revis by watching him is kind of funny. It's like some 6-8 white guy saying, "I'm really learning a lot by watching Dwight Howard."

Oh yeah? You're learning how to be a total freak of nature? Okay, slugger.

DB and LB positions are set for a few years to come, but the DL is in shatters at the moment with Jenkins out and Ellis nursing an injury (groin?). Jenkins 30, Ellis 32, Douglas 32, H. Green 30 and Pouha 30. Devito is 25 and pituitua is 24. We need some really young guns here next yr.

Agreed, both lines are really the only positions where there's a ton of age. We're set for years at almost every other position on offense/defense

I'm a big Lowery fan. Sometimes he overplays and makes mistakes, but overall, he's not a bad option at all. I'd definitely rather have Sheppard in, but that would entail him actually getting on the field.

Well Revis knows that they gonna pick on lowery cuz thats the weak side... But its good that Revis is teaching him no now he can become equally strong and then what do they do where do they throw

Sooooo... change "6-8 white guy" to "random 6-8 pro forward" and try again.

    Hey, look at that!

I disagree that our LBers are set for years to come. We have one young stud in Harris.

Thomas is 30 and has .5 sacks this year.
    Pace is 29 already.
    Scott is 29 also.
    And we...have...Gholston...

It's not enough to be an issue, but it's nothing like the talent we have at DB in my opinion.

Agreed...we need lots of young players...but it's almost comical to suggest that we're set "except for our two lines." That's like saying a well-furnished and decorated home is ready for occupancy except for the rotting roof and cracked foundation.

Tannenbaum must resist the urge for the glamourous headline deal next offseason, and trade for more picks and begin to rebuild our infrastructure.

Ryan's blitzing defense will only hold up over the course of a season with a young and talented front line.

I think Lowery and Strickland are about equal, both solid with the occasional mistake. I also think that those two with Revis give us one of the better CB combinations in the league! To expect anyone to become as good as Revis is asking too much. He is Awesome, these two guys are good to very good one their own.
