It was just a one day thing. Ray will be back. He's pretty decent on the show, but he can be annoying as hell when he breaks into his "Who?!...Who?!" tourettes episodes while someone else is speaking. Every time he starts that crap, I don't know how Adam and Brian can restrain themselves from smacking him right in the back of that dome of his.
ray loves the jets too. i thought he was going to cry with frustration after that loss in seattle last year.
Ray would be a tough fit on something other than a Jet forum, but I love watching him do the post game shows. He cares. He's not a flack.
Totally agree. I love watching Ray Lucas on the postgame show. He really legitimately cares about the Jets. He's not an analyst, he's a fan, like us. Except he was fortunate enough to have played for them too. I completely disagree with this.
It's funny, I remember reading something a while ago that made me think people on this forum generally didn't like him, and I didn't understand that. Ray is defintiely a fan, so I LOVE watching him on the Jets shows, because he's vested like we are, which makes me even more vested. I get tired of hearing the Giants lovers (no offense to Giants fans) on the radio. I enjoy hearing someone who loves our team, good, bad or ugly!
Yeah, I also disagree with the Schein reference. I like him, too, just not as much as Ray. I'd like to think former players are half as involved in the team as Ray is, but even if they are not, he is, and he mostly seems to know what he's talking about.
I like Ray, I think Woody did a good job last night. Buttle used to be good on there, I guess he's just on during the off-season? He and Lucas were funny together.
I feel the same. Schein is good. He mostly knows his stuff, but sometimes he's completely off-base and Ray putting him in his place is hilarious. My favorite part about Lucas is that he's ridiculously loud, and borders on belligerent when he disagrees. It's the same way I argue sports with my brothers.
