Mike Martz and Steve Mariucci had nice things to say about Sanchez. Listen well, you pussies. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-network-the-coaches/09000d5d8138c408/The-Coaches-Mark-Sanchez-playbook
I believe these two coaches won a superbowl each as head coached. I may be wrong!!!! I am lost, what is the reason for not listening to them.
I think that the way that they broke it down, it made a lotta sense, the kid's not as bad as his mistakes/almost hads would seem....
I didn't get too much out of that, other than 2x throws were off a bit, but well-designed plays and proper reads (QB error), 1 was a bad read/ decision, and one was a mis-communication with a WR. 3/4 of the plays broken down were QB error, either execution or decision-making, nothing that most here didn't already witness and diagnose. Not earth-shattering IMO.
great they broke it down. yah he's a rookie. we all know that coach. the problem is he threw multiple bad passes and got picked and the jets lost a game that they should have won. they didn't even bother to show his other poor decisions. we all know hes a rookie. the issue is whether its okay to lose football games and have sanchez get picked off 5 times? apparently martz and mariucci are okay w/losing games b/c hes a rookie. maybe thats why they are both not coaching anymore.
Don't worry about this guy mick. All he does is bitch about things he knows absolutely nothing about.
I think with more reps together, "Sanchez to Edwards" can approach synonymy with "Warner to Fitzgerald" or "Brady to Moss".
only problem i have is he goes to braylon too much. ie... interception in OT, clowney was wide open and he tried to force it to edwards.
mariucci had it right, they got too cute. run the ball, PA pass. this benching sanchez nonsense is just that however.
this is the funniest of all the funny posts week. honestly was the past 3 weeks not enough to have people stop making rediculous predictions and unfair comparisons. maybe we should talk about montana to rice... honestly please give that type of stuff a rest, its completely unfair to the kid.
Well, I'm certain you're wrong, but they do have rings. I think Mariucci has one as a quarterbacks coach for the Packers and Martz has one for coordinating the Greatest Show on Turf. Martz went back as HC but was upset by the Pats. The reason you can't listen to player critiques from head coaches like these guys, including Cowher, Gruden, etc. is because they don't want to burn any bridges for future gigs. In the back of each of these dudes' minds, they're thinking "I might be coaching this guy in the next couple of years, I'd better talk pretty." You also shouldn't listen to guys like Gruden, Martz and Mariucci because they've ruined dudes like Simms, Gradkowski, Garcia, Warner, Bulger, Garcia again, Harrington, Garcia... again... Maybe these guys don't know quarterbacks as well as they think they do. Sanchez is alright, though.
This is the best analysis ive seen from anyone.......it all goes to the play calling, stop trying to be too cute and setting him up for failure
And just what does that mean setting him up for failure. What should we do run the ball 99% of the time. Then we'll hear we wasted a pick on Sanchez and we're not letting him throw. To succeed , you need to run and pass effectively. If you can only do one well , defenses will catch up to it. The jets have been trying to keep a balance with their O - its just that yesterday Sanchez had a horrible day - plain and simple.
