Funny how you say we all took something the wrong way but you take the fact that I or someone else don't agree that Herm sucks into meaning we must love him. There is a middle ground. Every head coach who does not win a SB falls into the same category of wasted time according to your logic so what makes Herm's first five years any different then BB's? What makes Herm's five years any different then BP's stint with the Pats, Jets and Cowboys? No SB rings there.
I completely agree though there are unfortunately a few more who dwell on Herm since they feel the constant need to bash him. Unfortunately from time to time I feel the need to point out what I feel is a double standard which I should just learn to let go. The funny part is that the reality is as you said, "he isn't a barn burner, but he isn't terrible either. Has his moments of good and bad".
I agree with an earlier post,Herm is gone,Mang is our HC..............I'd love to see Herm fuckup in KC,just 'coz he's not a Jet any,more........yeah,Herm lost the plot..........no aggression,playing not to lose,instead of playing to win,etc..........lousy game management...........well,KC have him now,and we'll see what happens next season,but I think it'll be more of the same old Herm..........close,but no cigar..........shame Herm didn't take Woody with him,too........at least Bradway has gone...well,sorta.....just keep Bradway from making any decisions..........

First off, not totally agreeing with everything Champ says. With that said, calling Champ a troll is absurd. If the title of a thread says "We will win the Superbowl in 06!!" and champ posts thats ridiculous and that the poster said the samething when Herm was here...that makes him a troll because he deflected the conversation back to Herm? Kind of amazes me how there are so many people around here that can post the same logic about what they believe but when its Champ, its trolling. Does he say alot of the same things over and over and over...yes but thats his steady opinion....not trolling.
