Jets failed to gameplan effectively knowing their second and third options for the passing game were out. Where were the looks to Clowney? Could have opened up with more out of the backfield, as well... Coaching staff has to put Sanchez in positions to succeed.
Pretty shure its sanchez. Lets give clemens a chance to make things right again. I mean i know sanchez is a rook but damn he lost us that game singlehandedly.
If the Bills didn't suck terribly, Sanchez would have been pulled this game (AT LEAST). If the Bills capitalized and ran up the score, there's no way the coaches bring him out there after his 5th INT. The fact that the Sanchez was still in the game was more of a reflection of Buffalo's complete ineptness, not the coaching staff's confidence in Sanchise.
Just to remind you, cause I think you have forgotten, but you want a guy who has been in the league 4 years, I think, and couldn't beat out a rookie in training camp for the job to come in and show us how it's done the right way? Yeeeeaahh.. I'll live with Sanchez's learning curve.
LOL. So u think that the Jets coaches realized that Sanchez sucked and should have been benched except they thought that the bills were so lame that even a crappy sanchez would be able to win the game? Interesting theory - it means that you think the Jets coaches are completely incompetent but its an interesting theory.
Sanchez is 22 years old. Last year was his first year starting at the collegiate level making a him a rookie QB in college. Hes also a rookie QB in the NFL obviously. He has very little experience as a starting QB. He NEEDS this shit to happen so he can learn from his mistakes and make progress. He has officially started 22 games in his career at the college and NFL levels combined. Want me to get Joe Flaccos first 6 games and show you what they look like? 1 CIN W 17-10 15 29 129 51.7 4.45 15 0 0 0.0 63.7 2 Bye Week 3 CLE W 28-10 13 19 129 68.4 6.79 19 0 2 1.0 47.8 4 @PIT L 23-20 16 31 192 51.6 6.19 35 1 0 5.0 81.7 5 TEN L 13-10 18 27 153 66.7 5.67 22 0 2 0.0 50.4 6 @IND L 31-3 28 38 241 73.7 6.34 54 0 3 4.0 57.0 oh shitt look at that WOW how impressive was he?
Absolutely, it was after that 3rd INT that it was obvious to anyone with a brain that the kid was in trouble and he wouldn't recover. To read this forum with most fans talking about how it would shatter his confidence if he was taken out, just boggles the mind. We're here to win games, not nurse-maid a young QB that might not turn into good one until 2/3 years down the line. What irritates me the most is our coaches let this happen and they're starting to make mistakes like Mangini and Herm.
It means that if the score was 40-13 Bills midway through the 4th (like it should have been if the Bills weren't so god-awful), Ryan could pull Sanchez for the rest of the game and let him 'sit it out." If Rex pulled him in the 13-13 game, the fans and media would be calling for his head.
5 picks, who lets a quarterback play after 3-4 picks, is he a QB that has proven himself over the years? No, he is a rookie, pull him and win the game........
nope but Tom Brady once went 14/28 for 123 yards and 4 INTs including a pick 6 as a 3rd year starter. Lets not judge the kids potential on 1 game as disgusting as it was.
if he plays shitty against the steelers i will give him a pass---but one more crappy game after that --- i say bench him --- its definately time to revisit this
no its not time to revisit this. And he's about to play two of the best defenses in the league. The answer is never to just find someone else when things aren't going perfect. Growing pains - they aren't gone yet.
Yeah, I thought the samething. I wish they would of sat him out the beginning of the 4th, JUST FOR A SERIES, to calm him down and to see if we would of gotten a spark.
Mark is not playing well but if our receivers could catch we'd have 2 more wins. It's hard to succeed when your OL cannot block(run or pass) and your receivers cannot catch.
