He's 19-19 on FG/PAT. Next closes to him is Janikowski (sp?) who's 11-11. Our Kicker is really taking care of business which is something we haven't able to say in recent years. Figured he deserved a shout out.

the kicker is doing his job when nobody talks about him. feely has been excellent this season, and even going back to last year.

I usually hate kickers, but Feely has been money. I'm glad we have him.

I was actually thinking the same thing myself Syracuse. Feely had been a nice addition.

Feely is one of my favorite players. He's been money for a while, and he has shown that he is clutch because of the OT kick against the Pats last year. (Even though that might of been the ugliest kick I've ever seen go through the uprights, but I'll take it! :p)

22 straight FGs going back to last year. I was glad when we signed him, I remember he had a monster year with the Giants a few years back. Dude is solid.

He's been great for us. And he tackles.

I hope this thread wasn't the kiss of death...

Yep. If the kicker is invisible then you know you've got a good one. You only notice them when they hit FG's at the last minute to win or blow kicks. Neither of which should happen very often.

If I never hear about the kicker, I know he's doing a good job.

Kickers are always overlooked until they miss the big one. Where do I sign; the guy is automatic every week. What I love about him also is his desire to win as team. His tackling is superb. Nice spot Syracuse. Long overdue credit to Feely.

i guess my opinion of feely was skewed the one time i saw him play for the giants and he missed like, 3 FGs against the seahawks which ultimately cost the giants the game a few years ago. i've liked what he's done for us though, and think this thread should be closed, as i don't want feely to be jinxed.

And as long as he keeps it up, we'll love him. Then, in the playoffs, he'll miss a big kick, and he'll get run out of town. It's the life of an NFL kicker. It happens to all of them. Well, most of them.

Remember that game well. I wagered on Seattle to win the NFC that year and they really needed to win that game to help secure home field advantage. Feely had chance after chance and every time I had my heart in my mouth....but he kept missing!! Far cry from his current form - the guy's banging them in left right and centre.
