just swung this deal last night in one of my money leagues. I traded away Tim Hightower, and Devin Hester For Steve Smith (Panthers) & Brandon Jacobs. it's a standard ppr league.
I'm not feeling it. That's all Hightower does is R and get the PPs. Smith is the big-play guy on a dismal offense with no passs protection. BJ is getting outscored by AB, if you have him it's good to have both though. Without seeing your roster, I don't like it.
Whisenhunt said in his press conference that B.Wells will be getting the majority of the touches (if any)....reducing Hightower's workload considerably. Smith is about to breakout against TB this weekend....watch and see.
While I like the Idea of getting Smith, Jacobs has been a huge let down for me this year. He's not finding the End Zone at all. I hope to hell he turns it aroudn though, and fast.
