I am as emotionally invested in this team as anyone else. It is impossible not to get caught up in the highs when the team's doing well. However, the reality of this season was hidden by the first three weeks. Although this was (hopefully) a sign of great things to come, it's important to remember that we have a new coach, with a new scheme, and a new QB. I think Ryan's got these guys buying into what he's selling but it is a process that will take some time. We initially caught a few teams off-guard and I fully expect to continue to have some success, however, there are going to be some games that get away from us. The Giants have a well established, well oiled machine...of course they're doing well. The same can be said for the Colts, and the Saints. Denver will come into the argument, but I look at them and see better receivers and a veteran QB leading the way. I just wanted to say that I hate losing as much as the next guy, but I'm encouraged by what I've been seeing, and I'm not ready to panic yet. How are we all going to feel in a couple of weeks when we might be at 5-2? These two game should be looked at as building blocks for a great future, not a wreaking ball on our young season.
Your right but it's the DOLPHINS! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You guys have got a solid team and to pack it in is crazy. I have said it before and will agin that the Phins and Jets are the future of the AFC and I look forward to the intense rivalry it brings.
Expectation fulfilled. But really, I agree with the OP. It was obviously going to happen, we just lost sight of that after the first three games.
Have we not learned from the Miami game? You can't look ahead and say hey we may go 5-2 because the next thing you know we lay an egg like last night. One game at a time.
We have a real football team, which can make real football plays how long do you think the dolphins can keep pull tricks out of their ass like that? Once it's on film everyone in the league can dissect it. They got us this time..payback's a ... Welcome to the rivalry Coach Ryan!!!
i agree with your general message, but this hurt more because it was the miami pansies. if this was another team it would hurt less. it would hurt even less if the d didn't crumble like a little girl.
