Apologies if this was posted elsewhere, but can any of you twitter-savvy posters fill me in on David Clowney's status? With a green number one and Cotch questionable, I figured this would be DC's moment to step up. But on nfl.com, Clowney is listed on the injury report as "limited practice- not injury related." What gives? I'm not comfortable with the idea of ten Brad Smith targets tomorrow.
He missed practice for "personal problems" or reasons. Rumor had it, his gold teeth caused really bad chronic halitosis and he had to get that fixed. I never realized they put a missed practice for personal reasons n the injury report, that is mystifying.
He was excused from practice for a personal reason. I'm not sure what that reason is, and I'm not sure if anyone does.
Hehe, they'll probably put Rex's indigestion on the injury report after that hit in the wallet they took from the league.
J-Co is going to play dont worry about that and i think Smith will be the #3 Receiver and Clowney's weird ass will stay on the bench.

i dont get it.. why not just cut this guy. if hes inactive every week and when hes not he doesnt play on O or ST...why keep him on the roster?
Every week theres always some reason for it to be the week the Clowney finally steps it up. The fact of the matter is this coaching staff and the last coaching staff has zero faith in Clowney in a regular season game. I'm sure theres a reason for this, and for this, he will remain in the preseason hall of fame with Little John Flowers, Danny Ware, Brett Ratliff, and many others. This is also my first ever post with my new sig, very sad considering what it was about.
If we're leading in the second half and can give JCo a rest, I expect Clowney to get some reps. I'm pretty sure the inactive comment was just because it's the site's current running joke, which actually is getting a bit tired, but anyway. As for Clowney, whatever happened, I think it was bad. I think it had to do with his brother. He tweeted something about his brother in heaven the other day, and people were sending him well-wishes, and he was tweet-praying. I don't have any details though. This is only what I gathered from the tweets I saw. He's not listed on the injury report, so I assume he's going to be on the field at some point tonight.
