The Jets are legit if they beat the teams they are supposed to beat. They should beat Miami on Monday night. They need to bring it, and don't take the foot off the pedal. The fin fans are dillusinal thinking that they have a chance against us. We should kick Miami's butts (twice this year); Buffalo, too for that matter.
Totally agree. Oakland is just a god Awful team. If we lose to Oakland this year it will be more like a clap game than a trap game.
I have followed this team for long enough that I know better than to use the words "should" and "cupcake" or to expect a particular record no matter what I've seen them do in previous games.

Agreed GH. For years, the SOJ's had a rep for letting teams beat them by not showing up ready to play 60mins. This team so far has done alot to dispell the concept of the SOJ's but there's still that one last hill to climb. That being beating the teams they're supposed to beat and like you said, the Miami's, The Faders and The Jills are all on that list this season. If DRex can shutdown the wildcat, that puts Henne in the same position Sanchez was in last weekend in NOLA.
Agreed. It's more about how they win the games than who they beat. The SOJs would tend to struggle against poor teams just as much as they would play well against better ones - even in good years. It was always an emotional rollercoaster. We need to expose Miami for being as bad as they are - just like the Gmen did to the Raiders yesterday. Teams with a championship attitude take care of business against the teams they're supposed to and don't fall victim to the mental ups and downs that we've seen from the Jets in the past. So far this season looks much different. We'll have our next big litmus test tonight. I say we crush the fish handily. :jets:

I think you answered your own question: we need to go 4-0 against these turds. I especially want to see us win @ Miami and @ Oakland (last time we won there was the John Hall Snow Game).
That is how we can tell if the Jets are legit. When they rush for a 1000 yards and lose to a 1-4 team with a second-string quarterback.
