Don't see how you can say that. Not an elite team yet, but they've now beaten every team in their division, two of them on the road. And beat a stout Packers team in Lambeau. They're at least as legit as the Jets are.

There is a chance Bengals and Ravens make the playoffs and the Steelers don't. I hope we are qualified before the last game.

PS I don't understand why they got Coles with Caldwell and Henry + OchoCinco on the team...

Maybe I will not have to listen to how the Ravens need a whole new league for them now that they are in 3rd in their division.

    They are very legit.

Remember, they are one freak play away from being undefeated.

Aren't the Ravens 2nd in their division?

Cedric Benson's career turnaround has been amazing. Good for him. Talk about a change in scenery...

Anyone thinks Baltimore misses Rex Ryan and Bart Scott and Jim Leonhard?

    They are legit.

the end of the jets schedule is not easy. Its probably one of the hardest in the league.

I'm happy for this franchise even though their owner is a boob. Marvin Lewis, Palmer, 85, and Mike Zimmer deserves it all.

3 wins in the final minute in a row. That's luck. The Bengals are going to win more games this year than you'd have anticipated at the start because of being +2 in late luck (they also lost to Denver in a very unlucky play on the last play of the game), but there's no reason to consider them likely to play at an 80% clip the rest of the way just because the ball keeps bouncing their way at the end.

Put another way: how good has Mark Sanchez been on 3rd down the last few games? Nowhere near as good as he was against the Texans.

I don't think they're contenders yet but they're definitely legit. With Cedric Benson doing his thing, Ocho and Palmer healthy and fewer distractions, the talent they have on that team is finally showing. I've always thought Marv Lewis was a pretty good coach and Carson Palmer I think could be one of the best in the league, so it's good to see the team get it's act together, more or less.

Good point, but regardless, they are now 4-1 having played Denver, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Baltimore, 3 of which on the road. Regardless of how good they actually are, they'll probably end up around 10-6 with a good divisional record.

They can run the ball, they can throw the ball, they can stop the run, and they can stop the pass. They should play better soon in the passing game because there is talent there.
