Ugh. I thought mock drafts were gone for about 9 or 10 months. Guess not.

I'd like to think we aren't going to do that terribly this year.

#5?! Please, we have a good amount of talent on this team to be very successful in 06 and we are gonna have one hell of an o-line, leading to one hell of a rushing game, and more time for our QBs to pass.
We will be drafting, minumum, 21 (Yes, I'm serious).

I hope we don't end up with the fifth pick, but if we did I would love to get Jarrett.

21... no..8 - 14 more likely. We will be competitive, but we just don't have the tools yet, we are learning a new system on offense and defense... Somehow 21 is a little bit of a stretch for us. I'm thinking we pick at #9 Nest year, but thats just me.

#5 might be a little bit too high, but a top 10 pick is not out of the question.

Would rather get Marshawn Lynch. But, we should be done with these mock drafts for next season. Starting to get annoyed with all these mocks. Lets focus on the 2006 season.

I don't think RB will be a position they target at all next year. I think the Jets like Cedric and Washington to split carries...but if those guys do crappy this year Marshawn would be nice.

I personally think they will go after a defensive player at the top of the draft.

yeah, hard to take that very seriously when they have the Houston Texans drafting a running back with the 8th pick. .

While I don't think 21 is likely, it certainly is possible.

I think this team is going to be in alot of games that are decided by 7 points or less, and how they play down the stretch in those games will decide whether we pick in the top 10, or the low teens.

With the 15th pick in the 2007 NFL Draft, the New York Jets select S LaRon Landry, L.S.U.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Jarrett - JETS picking a playmaker with its first pick...Cant be...thats too falling into the hype...not building from inside out...not intelligent enough...not enough of a character guy...not a team CAPTAIN...

SO has to be FICTION...so funny how catch phrase this new JETS FO regime are

My guess for 07 draft, OT with pick 5, OT with both 2nd rounders, OG with 3rd rounder, then go for a playmaker in round 5 and 6 (PS. 4 rounds too late), and then search for the next Brady in round 6 and 7

    Just kidding...
