We all know there has been a lot of talk of Gholston not showing up in some games during college and massively owning in others. One of the games he did show up in was in the Ohio State vs. Michigan game.

With Jake Long at LT and Chad Henne at QB, do you guys think there's any chance that Gholston has flashbacks of college greatness and has an impact in this game?

Lets also not forget that this is Pace's first game back so I'm assuming Pace will be a little rusty and will probably get less time on the field than he got last year, so this may be Gholston's last chance to earn a higher percentage of playing time.

well we have already played the Phins and Jake long twice i don't really know why the light would suddenly flash for gholston on Monday.

Obviously if it does, every Jets fan in the universe will be thrilled, but I just doubt that it will happen.

That would require Gholston to be motivated, which is not happening. You'd think he'd be pissed that everyone in New York says he's a bust and he hasn't done anything. I mean LT helped him out and the guy has nothing to show for it. It seems like he is accepting his role as bust, will get cut, and will just take the rest of his money and sit around all day for the rest of his life.

    No.

Jake Long has become NFL ready and has proven to be a talented LT. Gholston has never shown to be NFL ready and is not talented at all because he has a soft pussy mentality.

I would have given Gholston one more year to develop but after I read a news article where Westhoff screamed at him for pulling up and shying away from a blocking wedge in fucking shorts and pads during the summer I have absolutely no faith in this mammoth pussy of a man.

I totally agree, I bet if Leon were to fight Gholston, Leon would kick his sorry ass. The guy needs to be put on the practice squad or something just to send a message. What pisses me off is not that he got paid so much, it's that he's so physically gifted and doesn't do a thing about it.

Jake Long has been owned a handful of times this year that I've seen with a bull rush. Gholstons biggest strength is the bull rush. I think it would be a good match up to get him at DE with his hand in the dirt against Long.

A "rusty" Pace will be astronomically more productive than Gholston.

Yeah, but I'm afraid if Ryan and Scott can't get him fired up than no one can.

Gladys probably won't be playing a whole lot so even if he plays well it'll be overshadowed by the play of our squad of ultimate badasses.

I'd trade Gholston for Ginn. Probably.
