I want the option that says "Dangerous choice of WR - But we didn't give up too much"

I agree. I think it was a good trade for the Browns (little risk and reasonable reward), and a reasonable trade for the Jets to make, but for them really depends on how well Edwards plays.

I think it's bad. The guy has awful hands and we would have needed those picks cause we have a serious lack of depth on many positions. I wouldn't call the trade awful though.

Whether or not Braylon plays well the trade is still going to end up helping the Jets, and it's one they needed to make. After the 3-0 start a total collapse would've looked really bad and that's the direction they were headed with Stuckey as the 2nd WR.

His body control is unreal, sure he might drop a few here and there but he makes up for it.

at 2:43 he makes a TD catch on The Revis Christ.

I saw it's a good trade for the Jets. Giving up two players and two draft picks for a headcase WR with upside is by no means "great."

    Look I hate this trade

Is edwards bigger than Stuckey and Cotchery, Yes. Is he faster Yes. Does he have hands as good as Stuckey and Cotchery, No.

This guy is a horrible move your only hope is that he does draw coverages, but frankly I think if Clowney got his act together he could do that. When you get paid to catch the ball, and you cannot your not doing your job and therefor not worth it.

Believe me Im not a darksider but this guy really sucks

1 drop per ever 5 receptions over the past 2 years is hardly a "drop here and there" in my opinion. That's a lot of drops. That's running back type hands, not WR type hands.

another aspect of this trade is that the Jets no longer have to release someone to make room for Pace since they traded 2-for-1

Would you rather have a talented player that drops the ball 20% of the time or an average player that can't get open 75% of the time and can't spread the field?

I would rather have the player who is more productive

also I love how we traded for a player who might be suspended some time this year

I hope he turns his life around and plays to his potential, but as of now I wonder if we gave up to much. And for the record I think it would be nice to have 7 draft picks for a change.

It has been enjoyable watching the bias switch on the player when he comes to our team. Had he been traded to the dolphins I'm sure we wouldn't be so high on his ability.

Its made my Wednesday amusing though...so I won't complain.

honestly, he cant be suspended for that long. the only actual legal charge against him was for driving 120. sure he drank with stallworth that night but he was smart enough to not get in a car with stallworth. as far as this fight thing goes, no charges filed so there really isnt too much goodell can do here. if he gets a game or 2 big deal hes worth it.

on a bad year Edwards gets 850 receiving yards

do you really think Stuckey would have got 850 yards this year? I'm positive he wouldn't come close.

And Stuckey has 2 huge drops the last 2 weeks. The one vs TEN cost us an INt and the one last week was a huge 1st down he dropped on that quick slant.

The trade should help the running game and keep that safety out of the box. Our three headed attack should see some more holes now.

true, but then again Edwards was always the first option and for a while he was so much better than the browns other receivers. Also keep in mind this is Stuckeys first full year playing

Meh. I said "good," but I don't like the description after the option. Seems to me there's more upside than downside. Unless he turns into a huge, effing punk. We know what he CAN do, so the only question remaining is whether he WILL do it or not.

I support the Edwards trade but both of those balls were very poorly thrown...Stuckey did all he could to get his hands on the int tip, it would've been picked either way. Those were on Sanchez.
