Pretty blockbuster of a trade, wanted to see the board's consensus on what was given/received. To the Jets: WR Braylon Edwards To the Browns: WR Chansi Stuckey, LB Jason Trusnick, 2010 3rd & 5th round draft picks.
its a great trade for the jets honestly, between the sanchez trade and the braylon trade i'm starting to get a little suspicious
I believe that it could turn out to be a good if not great trade. However; there is some risk involved. If Edwards turns out to be the head case that Cleveland thinks he is AND he doesn't produce then, the Jets would have given up a decent (but not great) starting WR, a good Special Teams Player and 2 mid-round draft picks that they really needed to build depth on this team.
It took me a while to setup the Poll. The purpose was the polled response, I like to get board consensus via poll. If needs to be merged please do-so.
Always put a "Too early to tell - could go either way" option in a poll if you want to get the entire feel of the board.
idk if it is fair to say he was a BAD receiver. he did show a little bit of promise and for what round he went in the draft and not having high expectations to begin with i feel he was a decent receiver.
If Rex Ryan can drop the hammer on his attitude, this could work out. That also depends on Goodell NOT suspending him for ANOTHER night club altercation. This also depends on who defenses prepare themselves for now that they will have to choose between Cotchery and Edwards. This should help Keller, and the running gam e if it keeps 8 defenders out of the box. Not sure if this will affect the Dolphins game, but the Bills/Raiders should be a good time to iron out the wrinkles by introducing him mid-season.
