Ignatius, TommyGreen, if you're reading this, it's in our league. And Ignatius, I thought you told me he didn't like either guy and was going to decline it. Oh well, I love the deal. I trade RB Deangelo Williams RB Willis McGahee for RB Chris Johnson .5 PPR, 10 yards per point I'm a firm believer in getting the best player in a trade, and the Panthers scare the hell out of me this year, and I don't think Deangelo will get enough carries to warrant his draft status. Chris Johnson is the clear lead back in that offense, and they are committed to getting him the ball a lot. White takes away the goalline, but I still think Johnson ends up with more touchdowns than Williams. The deal's also great because it creates a roster spot where it allows me to start the Bengals' defense to spot start over the Jets this week. I still have Ray Rice as my third back. I'm a little thinner now, and if Steven Jackson were to get hurt, I'm in some trouble. Here's my roster after the trade. QB: Schaub RB: Jackson, Johnson, Ray Rice, Jerome Harrison WR: Ochocinco, Cotchery, Bowe, Walter, Burleson, Bryant TE: Celek, bye week replacement this week D: Jets, Bengals K: Kris Brown Obviously, I'm trying to trade a WR for a RB now. And someone on this board has a gluttony of runningbacks.... I'm going out in an hour, but I want to get a deal done, and I really like LeSean McCoy or possibly someone else...
i have cj on a couple of my teams and ive noticed hes one of the few guys who can carry ur team on his back on certain weeks
Mack, I would absolutely do this trade. I feel like C Johnson is the 3rd best back behind AP and MJD. Would you do this trade.... I give: Cutler Fred Jackson Get: Calvin Johnson
I think D Will is the value player. I expect him to come around once Delhomme has some confidence and teh passing game comes around. C. J. can be stacked against (see the Jets game). Willis is turning heads now and may be able to hold off Rice for majority if he keeps playing up.
