    Jets Defensive stats.

Only 3 TDs allowed. Against the Texans, Patriots, Titans, and Saints.

    Enough said.

Saints fan here. Your defense deserves mad props. They are smothering in the secondary. I can tell you they ran with the Saints they can run with anyone. I am so glad we did not have to face yet another 4th and 1 against the Jets DL. Enough said. That was a hard fought game, and I think no major injuries, no?

What's with all of the people calling our offense one-dimensional, in favor of the passing game no less?

We're top 10 in rushing. We've been averaging 130 per game, and that's facing the #2, #5, and #10 rushing defenses (along with #32 Houston). Tennessee is the only team we didn't rush for 100 yards against. What exactly is the problem? That we're not tops in the league against that competition?

NFW are the Jets going 14-2. No way is that happening. This O-line is not playing well enough nor are the RB's and quite frankly Sanchez is going to have a few more games like this.

I will be more than happy to go 10-6 or 11-5.

If the FO can get depth on OL or a starting RT, depth on DL and a #1 Wr this team has a very very bright future. Like an elite SB team future. Not this year though. IMo

Smells like 11-5, 12-4 territory to me.

A loss to Buffalo (the team that we always look past), a loss to the Pats (they'll probably beat us in Foxboro), a loss at Indianapolis in the dome, maybe one other somewhere in there.

The defense is great but the offense has real problems, and not limited to a rookie QB. The offensive line has been underwhelming so far with jailbreaks on Sanchez two or three times a game and an inability to establish the power running game. The runningbacks are less than the sum of the whole at this point, with TJ definitely losing a step and Leon not ready to step up to 15-20 carries a game yet. The receivers are a joke after Cotchery. Stuckey is a slot receiver and the other guys are special teams and trick play fodder. Keller is good but he's drawing a safety in coverage full time now that the league has figured out that putting a linebacker on him is asking to get burned for 25-30 yards.

The offense really isn't going to click on all cylinders this year. Next year Sanchez will have his feet on the ground from the get-go and the Jets will have the wide receiver problems solved and hopefully a better idea as to how much reconstruction may be needed on the line.

A day later, and sober (f these late games...too much time on my hands before kickoff) - I concur with 11-5/12-4.

I dont really see us losing to the Bills, i'm sorry they are flat out horrible we could play our worse game of the season on offense and as long as the D plays well it's def a win, I could see us losing to the Pats, Colts, Jags, and maybe the Falcons but every game is winnable, this division sucks outside of the Pats and Jets

I don't see all of this doom and gloom regarding the offense. There's 1 game when everything went to shit. 1 game. Can they improve? Hell yeah and I'm not going into why because there're multiple threads on every reason known to mankind, but really this O has been more exciting to watch than most of our other Os since Chad Penningtons crowning season...until he met Oakland, anyway.

The sky isn't falling, you're just pissing straight up in the air.

    14=2 WOW
just my openion but if we win 9-10 games this year with the defense, that would be more realistic, but with the schedule you never know. IF we make the playoffs and get past the 2nd round, now we are talking SB!

I was very pleased with yesterdays game. Every thing seemed normal (Sanchez is a ROOKIE Quarterback). But the one thing that really angered me was Schotty's play calls. I still see this team 11-5 or 12-4

No, none worth reporting. Yes, a great game. Our Breeslet still needs to grow a bit, but I think he will get there.

If we see each other again this year, it would be special.

id be happy with 11-5, definitely think 12-4 is possible. 13-3 would be amazing.

im not worried about the offense, really the offense wasnt THAT bad. We were driving, about to score a td, and sanchez threw a pick six. throw in all his other turnovers and we lose. If sanchez does not have another game like this we could go 13-3. its all about the rookie.
