Now I'm not going to jump on the "fire Schottenheimer" bandwagon, but the offensive playcalling in this game was absolutely disgusting. The New Orleans Saints didn't beat us. Our offensive coordinator beat us.

Ok, so what's the deal with Greene? He is obviously the only back that should even be playing and yet he only gets 4 carries?
We've just gone back to the conservative bullshit we had during the Chad Era. When most of your passes are behind the line of scrimmage or 5 yards down the field it doesn't take a genius to stack the line.
it wasn't terrible. It wasn't purely amazing. why does every loss have to have the same threads? might as well dig up the ones from last year.
but when the OC doesnt put players in good position to execute, thers not much you can do, unless you have peyton at qb and moss at wr.
Schottenheimer should be fired. The guy has proven time and time again that he has no clue how to call a game. One thing I've noticed is that the Jets usually look their best on the opening drives of games or halves. Once his "script" runs out they revert to the boo worthy garbage we saw in the 2nd half today.
There were deifnitely a few bad play calls but when your QB gives up 14 pts it changes things. Schottenheimer has done a great job overall this year, I'm not worried.
it wasnt Shotty that threw the interceptions, lost the fumble etc. it was the great Sanchez. I missed the wounded/injured Favre today!
Butthis is nothing new! We've seen him do this with every QB to date. There are times where we score 30 pts like nuthin then he does this every so often where he constantly puts our QB's in a can't Win Situation... And wtf is he doing Screaming all day?
What wasn't terrible about the game Schotty called? Coming out in Shotgun and throwing on 3rd and 1? Really? On two seperate occasions? Seriously? Schottenheimer HAS to take the training wheels off Sanchez. Aside of the 20 yard connection up the seam to Keller and the last desperation drive, we didn't throw the ball down the field at all. And then we wonder why we can't run the ball while the defense has 9 guys in the box.
I would like to bitch about Leon only getting 4 carries. WTF is that? Greene played as well, yet he also got only 4 carries. !5 or so carries for TJ for 45 yards, one of them being 15? It was the case last wk as well. I hope we learn and glad we lost, cuz that'll bring us down to Earth. Maybe Rexy will get into Schotty's ear a little bit?
Shotty should be an OC at a college program. Everything he does is cutesy or gimmicky. I can't wait until Rex fires his sorry a$$ at the end of this season.
