Glad you enjoy the footage. I will be somewhat of a regular around here, as I would like to track his status in the NFL.

But I would like to say that...

    GO RAMS!

If he embraces a change to WR, he could be an awesome playmaker for us in a year or two. Wow. Some exciting picks for the Jets along with the solid ones in the first round. NO WAY Loserway and Germ would have drafted this guy. Clearly one of those guys not slowed down a lot by pads as well.

He has one of the best heads on his shoulders. I have friends who walked on to the football team and they said nobody was nicer and made them feel welcome while being such a leader.

WOW!! This kid is fast...hopefully he'll turn out to be more than a Dedric Ward or Jonathan Carter.

Amazing video... he runs like he is skiing downhill... a steep hill. He just puts his foot out and goes right around the turn, without losing an once of speed. If we can get him the ball in the open field, he will be gone. I'm sure that the CS will be scheming ways to get him the ball in space. I can't wait!!:)

    Somethin tells me

This guy might be a running back sooner or later. I see it, great moves, hits back and can fly. Greaty football speed. Hey, ya never know, just a hunch.

Will he take Vinny's #16? Might be able to get the number if all the 80s are taken (and that could be the case, seeing we have 5 TE's at the moment).

This kid just glides man! I saw him in college, saw some highlites, and saw his combine, so I knew he was a good player, but this reel showed me that he is very fast, has sick moves, and can actually BREAK TACKLES! I really hope he pans out-- I wouldn't mind seeing him get some carries, or take throws out of the backfield either. He's certainly big enough, and can obviously take a hit. Just get the ball into this guys hands!! I hope he returns punts for us...

He's really fast! Did you see that same film I did? He ran a 4.45 at the combine, and this highlite reel shows it.

Wow. I'm impressed. I knew nothing about this kid but it looks like the FO knew what they were doin goin for this guy. I try not to read too much into highlight footage because it's only "highlights", you don't see the bad points, but it's hard not to be excited about the potential of this guy after seeing that. I'd like to see him get some action this year. Nice open field moves, he could probably return punts and kickoffs well, as long as he can hold on to the ball unlike the mess of a return game we had last year.

the only problem i heard somewhere was that he still wants to play qb not wr. other than that, if he can wise up..i saw him on a televised game earlier this year I believe, and he really is sick.

Brad Smith never got media coverage for many reasons.

    1. Mizzou. I mean, great school, but the football just aint there. No nationally televised game.
    2. Vince Young. Same conference.
    3. Supporting cast is pretty lacking.

But his last game, which was the Independance Bowl, he looked a little like V. Young as he pulled his team out of the gutter singlehandedly (spelling) and won that Bowl Game.

I only dreamt of Brad Smith in a Rams Jersey.

Article today talking about a lack of speed in Jets draft picks. But this video on Smith is a reminder that there's a difference between 40 times and football speed with pads on and the game on the line.

The dude can play. can probably play WR, RB, S, special teams, oh yeah, and QB. Great guy to have on the squad. Frees up other roster spots b/c of his versatility. I am very happy with our draft.

im curious, but if our O-Line turns out to be as good as we hope. Washington will be more than a situation back thats a big IF though.

but id rather have him at WR cuz he brings playmaker abilities to a core of possession recievers.and mccareins best stats were put up in the slot position where he crossed the field using his body to make catches while DB's focused on Mason. Smith, he needs to be out there to attract attention from coles and make him a deep threat once again.

    thats just my opinion
