Is it Vegas this week? The reinventationism of Reblanta is like the AIDS virus. You can never peg it down.
The best Hofstra receiver ever is retired. If your guy is even in the league 7 or 8 years from now you can come back and crow.
Had a feeling that was coming. On top of the fact that Colston is more physically gifted, he is going to pass Chrebet's TD mark in a year or two and this is only the start of his 4th season (Chrebet = 11 years). Yardage? YPC? forgetaboutit. He wont need 7 or 8 years to be better.
Chrebet was an above average WR who was consistantly "above average" enough to enjoy a long, reasonably successful career. Colston caught more passes in his first two seasons in the league than any WR in NFL history. Rice, Moss, Fitzgerald....any WR.
Just leave Wayne alone- He is our Rudy we know the facts but this is a Jets site. If Colston ever becomes a Jet then he will be better until then, it's a no. Homerism at its best. Colston was a 7th round pick, good job on that one. I think Bush is a bust for a first rounder. Leon is better then Bush and he was a fourth rounder. I hate Bush, even landing strips are annoying.
Believe me...a team could do a helluva lot worse than lining up with a Wayne Chrebet at WR every week. I know. I've been a Saints season ticket holder long enough to remember when Bum Phillips was sending Jeff Groth and Guido Merkens out there...LOL.
We still want to hang Carney for that... even though it turns out it wouldn't have mattered. And he's actually back on our team now because our real kicker is suspended until the Giants game.
