Yeah, I told him it was a sucker bet when he proposed it to someone else, and he turned around and offered it to me. Obviously I was going to take it. He's a good guy; I'm sure someone will soon confirm that he has paid up, and I respect him wanting to help the site.
I still like the pledge thread, I mean a buck a pledge for every VG sack I would gladly contribute if he had 18. Or a buck for every KR for a TD, list it like the age tree and keep total every week. No pay until the season is over.

WSW, and everyone else who doesnt see the point in this thread... Stop being greedy bastards. The idea isn't for you to make a financial gain. Its for TGG to profit somehow. Make a bet on something you think will happen, and TGG will be paid out by the person who obviously loses the bet. Im not thinking about making money in my own pocket. If I wanted that, I would go play some poker or bet on the games this week. Who knows, maybe with the money we raise for TGG, Petro will find something nice for us in payback. Maybe even kickstart his own TGG apparel that he's been trying to get going... But hey, I guess some people dont think about anybody else but themselves....

Im sure some mods would verify in this thread if they do get paid out, or who decided to not donate to the site.
If this does workout there would have to be some separate discussion thread and separate betting thread just for organization..kind of like TGG mock draft has a pick only and discussion thread.
