I wonder if we'll be seeing more overloads on the right now....maybe Gholston can be effective as a rushing end with a backup in there.

The backup's name is Jermon Bushrod...pretty funny last name. Anyway he only has 6 games under his belt and 3 starts. Who knows if he will get the start or if they will move guys around, but either way, Brown was probably their best O-lineman and he'll be out.

But hasn't he been out since preseason? The Saints have played 3 games without him, so it doesn't change anything, it just frees up a roster spot for the Saints.

The LT has been out all three games I believe. This is not new in that regard. I guess they were hoping he could play this year.

Yes, Brown has been out since pre-season. Bushrod has had the starting job in all three of our victories. Brown was put on IR so we could pick up another linemen to have more depth on the O-Line. I am looking for the game and consider The Jets a very worthy opponent.

I was excited when I read that, then I realized he hasn't been playing all year, which is frightening. I think the Saints are an all-around monster, although it's tough to really know how good they are since their schedule has been a bit soft so far, you can't argue with these numbers:

    #1 in Total Offense
    #2 Rushing Offense
    #10 in Total Defense
    #5 in Rushing Defense
    #3 in Third Down Defense

I think the Jets have always done a good job frustrating Drew Brees, and I think at his size, he's going to struggle with the blitz up the middle. the biggest thing is can we account for Colston, Henderson, Thomas, Shockey, Bush, and Thomas. That's more weapons than we've seen all year. I'm just not sure.

If we win this game, the way the schedule works out, we could possibly be 8-0 going into the bye week.

Jermon Bushrod from Towson University, had a class with him my senior year. Didn't do much but text on his phone all class.

I don't think anyone sees this game as an easy win. The Saints are good, no on can deny that.

Yeah, he has been out all season so far...not only that, but his name isn't even Levi Brown, it's Jammal Brown.

How healthy Lance Moore is on Sunday is probably going to have a bigger impact on the game.

I don't see it that way either. I think the point I was trying to make is that this would be a momentous win, both from a momentum and confidence perspective.

I just realized that our old former backup OL Jonathan Goodwin is the Saints starting C.

Really? I guess Jenkins will be a non-factor. Goodwin is a beast, an all-time great center with the ability to push a 100 pound kid off the street.

Yeah we can. They will have maybe 4 of these guys in at once. We have Revis, Lito or Strickland (hopefully), Rhodes, Leonhard, Harris n Scott...All in at once besides Jenkins, Ellis n others. Its a great match up, n shouldn't be lopsided.

Colston is their best receiver but if Pierre Thomas is on the field twice I don't see how you can't double team him.
