Ny titan uni

I don't mind the Titans uniforms, but we do win in them.

 

Who do you think is fatter? Rex or his brother Rob?

Sorry I totally posted this in the wrong thread. Was supposed to go in the Rex's girth thread.

 

Rex looks thinner in purple. That's it--purple Titans throwbacks for the Bills game!

 

Meanwhile I didn't mind them at first but I think they're hideous now. But we're 4-1 in them now so yeah... that's pretty sweet.

 

And Rex looks even bigger now than he did in that pic. Yikes.

 

I never liked the 80,s uniforms , Too many bad memories. I say stay with the uni's we went all the way in. The Titans throw back are just a marketing gimmick $$$$. I'm surprised there's not a relative out their of the former owners during the titan days asking for a royalty!!!

The version just before this version is what I liked. The first green helmet version - No black stripes at all. Subtle difference. I think the shade of green changed too. I like the darker green. Clark Gaines era, not Rob Moore era.

You know, the sack exchange version 78-83. These are the Coslet-era.

 

Exactly correct. I'd love to see the early eighties style come out again. Those were clean and sharp.

 

80's throwbacks would be alright but I'm a bit sick of the Titans ones. I mean does anyone really want to remember few mediocre seasons?

Besides, if we switch to them full time this website would have to change its name...

 

Rex is way bigger now. Rob has lost a ton of weight.

 

Late 80's early to mid 90's then to be more exact.

 

Maybe it's me, but I thought the point of the 'throwbacks' was to have teams suit up in the uniform of their team in their earliest form/team's inception. The Jets 80's uniforms don't fit that idea at all. If I'm wrong, which I don't think I am, then the Tennessee Titans would have worn the 'throwback' uniforms of the er, the Tennessee Titans.

 

the white ones are pretty tight they should wear those more often than they do the navy ones
