Well the bottom line is the Cleveland Brown players have already quit on Eric Mangini. It took us 2.5yrs to do it but we did also. My question to my fellow Brethren is would they trade Braylon Edwards to us now. He seems outspoken and might be problem in that locker room. What would you be willing to give up?
If we offered Mangini a job, possibly. Perhaps ball boy, given that it is the only job he's ever excelled at on his own merits.
why is it silly to say "fuck it" and look to make big run now. He has lost the team in cleveland and I am sure a guy who was a bit of malcontent before mangini really is even worse off for them now. He is young and talented and would match perfectly with cothery
It better happen quick beause he is going to be out of a job by week six and there is going to be another head coach with the last name Ryan in the league..(Rob Ryan cleveland "D" coordinator)
Mangini is busy dealing with something like 5 player grievances against him with the union - guy lost that team real fast
That's a good point..I can see him being named for the rest of the year and then they will see how he does..much like Singletary in SF.
Suprised no one mentioned Edwards before? That being said, he has really taken a step back the last few years. He has only really had one good year in his career, with a penchant for dropping passes. No thanks.
We're 3 - 0 with the receivers we have. We're not going to make a move at this point for a guy who presents risks in both chemistry and production.
Talented receivers catch the ball when it hits thier hands. Edwards has a knack for not doing that, so yes, fuck it, we do not need him or what it would cost to bring him in. Silly fucking thread.
