No air raid sirens at the Stadium today?

Air Raid Siren?

Great game, but I was kinda' bummbed out that they didnt use the Air Raid Sirens like last game. Thought that was a cool trademark of the defense! Just added to the Insanity of what Rex, Bart and company are bringing. This thing is reminding me of the Black Hole in Oakland during better days! Man its Fun being a Jets fan again!:beer:

 

i wonder if the nfl spoke to them about that? hmmm i sure hope they use it it was great.

 

I think I heard somewhere that the Pats were complaining about it to the league. I'm not sure though.

 

Sorry for the double post Mak! I too missed them very much. I was hoping that they use it all the time as it adds to the insanity of the Defense. I too wonder if the NFL told them to stop as it makes zero sense!

 

Maybe thats it as the Pats have always had the league in there pocket. But are the Sirens any different from : "Boom Boom CHT CHT" or something like that?

 

Sounds like they replaced it with the train sounds.

 

Glad they didn't use it. Was annoying to hear and it's high school crap.

Annoying to who, you? That sound fits this defense correctly! First damn time since the Sack Exchange that I have something to be proud of. Yeah, thats waaaayy worse then the other 30 plus stadiums that play Guns and Roses or even: "BOOM BOOM CHTT"!

 

They used the air raid sound several times.

im glad they still used it. i didnt realize it on tv. was it as loud as it was last week?

 

I didnt hear it even once, but wasnt there. Maybe the rain helped to drown it out, but the Damn PC Richards thing I heard alot

 

yeah they used some different noise that sounded like an alarm. i dont know why they got rid of the air riden siren. MASS EMAIL TIME! :smile:

Just got back from the game.

There was a siren but it was a different one, not an air raid siren but more like a Red Alert sound....

 

I just got back from the game...they played the air raid siren in the 1st qtr, then some other kind of noise in the 2nd. The crowd was dead in the 2nd and 3rd qtrs, but came to life again in the 4th. I was asking the guy next to me where the air raid siren went, cause I loved it! It got the crowd fired up.

 

it was different from last week? if so that sucks, the one last week was alot of fun.

 

there was an active terror plot in the news this week involving meadowlands plans, wasn't there?

maybe they took them out to prevent people getting the wrong idea?

or was there no heightened sense at all at the game? then it was just stupid. mass email time.
