For some reason, I have a feeling that the crowd noise is going to be severely lower than last week. I think that the crowd noise really affected the game vs. the patriots. I hope that everyone gets to their seats by kickoff and stays loud for the entire game. I know I will be there and probably won't shut up for the entire game.
Rivalry helps to generate a great atmosphere! there is no rivalry with the Titans but im suspecting that after the amazing effort lask week it will roll on for a while
Rex has said he does not need to send another voicemail out to the fans because now the fans "know what we want". However, I'm not stupid, this isn't Jets/Pats so I don't think it will be as loud, but I still expect it to be very loud and louder in years past. I hope to lose my voice again.
I'm old and haven't had season tickets for a while, but the 20 or so years I had them, I came home without my voice every game....
I was at the Pat's game and in the 17 years that I have attended at least 1 game a year i have NEVEE heard it as loud as Sunday. And that includes the few playoff games we have had. I hope it is but I don't know if it will ever be that loud again.
I WILL BE LOUD AGAIN! But if that little man behind me tells me to sit down this week i'll be the one going to security. I cant believe im still turned off by this guys complaining on Sunday. Grrrrr.
I can't be there this weekend but i will be doing my part from my couch. PLEASE PLEASE...for those that do go make it just as miserable for the titans. We have to worry about CJ this week so the 12th man has to be there in full force!
I can't speak for the other 78,370 fans, but you can bet your bottom fuckin dollar im gonna be just as loud as I was last week. This team is my heart and soul.
we had a few assholes and old men sitting behind us telling us to sit down, when we told em we were supporting the team and that not cheering certainly hasn't gotten us anywhere. what ended up happening was the assholes apologized and said we were right to cheer, and the old men just left by the third quarter pissed. i suggested a giants game, that's got more of an old man vibe to it anyways.
I just hope they fill the stadium the way they did Sunday. It's nice not seeing any empty seats on TV and the extra people alone makes it louder. They showed some close ups of the fans on TV and it looked like there were more people in the rows than seats available. Packed.
Forecast is calling for some rain. Should make for some good football weather. If it does, it better not put a damper on the crowd. Sometimes it does, but I don't think it would this week. I'll be there before kickoff screaming my ass off. I think it will be pretty damn loud again, I plan on going home w/o a voice. LETS GO JETS!
It would be awesome if they sold those 30,000 standing room only tickets for $29.00 like Jerry idiot Jones did for the Cowbabies game....the place would be rockin' :jets:
