I think they are doing throwbacks. And they probably signed to be their "inside guy" against the jets :rofl:
Titans Game We're the Titans? They're the Titans???? Confusing. Do we want the Titans to win now? This throwback stuff is crazy. Anyone recall the first time the NFL did the throwback thing to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the league? The Jets wore the worst uni's I've ever seen in my life that day. They just stuck the old (current) logo sticker on the green helmet they had then, and added bad white tape for the stripes. It was a "negative" or reverse version of what they should have had on. It was humiliating as a Jets fan. Disgusting. They were too cheap to get accurate replicas. Just didn't get the marketing aspect at all. They figured it was "close enough". Boomer looked ridiculous. Still pisses me off....
I wish they would go with the jerseys they wore in SBIII instead of these damned Titans of NY jerseys.
Saw an ad on the Jets website for white/away Titans jerseys, I think they are new, I don't remember them ever wearing white ones. They look pretty cool hope they wear those on Sunday.
Thats a good point. I Rather bring those back atleast we won in them for fucksake. The Titans aren't that bad though , I mean the colors aint great but its A Throwback they dont all look great.
What I dont like about the Titans throw backs is that they have that shiny look. I know modern materials seem to mean they have to, but i think it makes them look weird. If they had that thick cotton look like the originals then they might not look so weird. But i would love to see the Jets come out in the old 80's uni's with the Green Helmets and the jets logo with the plane in it. They are what they wore from when i first started supporting the team so would love to see them trotted out at some point. And they dont represent failure to me, those horrible version with the black were the ones where we were the worst.
I totally remember that game... Damn I am old, but I agree with you 100 percent. That was the uglyiest uniform the Jets ever wore....
That's good news, Heintrich (who we let go about 20 years ago...great move!) is averaging about 47.5 yards a punt with a 45 yard net...Hodges as we know ....sucks!

Me too man, they represent the old time Jets far better than the Titans jersey that most people don't understand, and that they only wore for a few years.
White Titans I bet that the white Titans jerseys will be used for the "throwback" meeting with the Raiders in Oakland. That's my guess.
