The culture is being changed folks. "Play like a Jet" is a good thing now. Bad for other teams though.

Prevent is overrated except in a 4th down with 1 second on the clock in the 4th quarter of a 1 TD game....then it's forgivable. A whole series of prevent tho? No thanks

I heard a radio show called "Barking with Bart" on NYJ.com where Bart Scott said Rex taught the defense a completely brand new scheme preparing for the Patriots. He knew Belichick would look at Ravens tape and the Houston game. So, Rex one-upped him by adding new wrinkles and new looks to the defense to keep Brady guessing the entire game. But never did Rex incorporate a "prevent" defense for Sunday. Bart gave huge props to the D for learning and picking up the new system so fast leading up to the game.

We got ourselves a football coach folks.

was so happy not to see prevent the last series, and the 4th down was a straight up bull rush to get to brady it was awesome.

How did these other teams pass on Rex for their head coaching positions 2 seasons ago? I'm dumbfounded.

The guy is an innovator of violence.

Great job by Rex. It did seem like Brady was just not getting what was happening.

It's a good interview with Bart Scott. It's on the main page on NYJ.com. I encourage all the hear it. He talks about the game, the Mayweather/Marquez fight, and a couple of other things.

    Check it out.

I love that but I know there was an old school ECW wrasler who had that, I think it was Tommy Dreamer .... I much prefer the homicidal, suicidal, maniac myself....

The best part of the interview was when someone said he only rocks jersey's of players on the roster that will be future HOF's. So, he went out and got a Bart Scott jersey. Every player he's gotten so far made it to the HOF. Scott said he wanted to keep that going and prove to this individual that he made the right choice.

Damn almost forgot to catch that show. It was awesome last week.

It great because they talk about more than just the Jets and he's got a (usually hilarious) opinion on everything.

I knew i heard that term somewhere before.....ECW, or course! It was Tommy Dreamer.

Currently, Dreamer is the Innovator of Making Minimum Wage........Rex deserves the Innovator of Violence moniker moreso anyway.

Damn, my hearing must be shot too. My bad. I just starting playing it again, but ur prob right.

Edit: Ah, the fan had a Curtis Martin jersey, and it got pretty beat up. So he only wears future HOF jersey's so he went out and got a Bart Scott jersey. I thought I heard Curtis Martin in there somewhere. Damn work, gets in the way of doing solely Jets stuff.

Rex's D makes Mangini's soft ass 3-4 look like a gay pride parade in the West Village.

Man, I hate the prevent defense so much. It's watching a guy get his as kicked while he's trying to run away. I'd rather see that guy turned around and break the other guy's jaw before he can throw a punch.

    Rex is the man.
