    The Jets D already got their nickname, after week one(not sure who gets credit for it)No amount of corny play on words will ever top Band of Lunatics.

    Exactly. It's the fact that there's NO wordplay that makes it the best. TommyGreen and Mack are upset that I stole BOL last week for our fantasy league. It merited an instantaneous team name change from Tits McChang.

    That sounds waaayyyyyyy too much like what Damon and co called themselves on the Red Sox (Which I can't remember now). Band of misfits, or idiots or something like that.

    There is a world of difference between "Band of Lunatics" and "The Idiots". Nothing about lunatic implies idiocy, just insanity. Hannibal Lecter was a lunatic, and that dude was fucking brilliant.

    I think you need to invest in some new connotations. When I think of lunatic with regard to football players, I think of this definition:

    lunatic: a person whose actions and manner are marked by extreme eccentricity or recklessness.

    When I think of idiots, I think of the image currently to your left.

    the word "idiots"....is self explanatory.
