Which one? The Miami pass in 2005? If that is what you are talking about I completely agree...it was one of the ugliest completed passes I have ever seen.

    Great find first off...

You wanna see a great play watch the highlights of the Fresno game, in one of the plays Clemens is running to his right and then throws the ball accross his body about 25 yards downfield and yes there is some zip on it. The guy is moble but he doesn't get happy feet and yes I saw zip on that ball.

Another observation, Haloti Ngata was awesome in the Arizona State highlights

That injury was a blessing. This kid may have been a first rounder had he finished the season...he was going ape shit.

his arm strength is fine, he has good zip but what impressed me even more was his accuracy. That clip had some nice passes that lead the receivers perfectly. It'll be sweet to see him in action in the preseason!

I was thinking the same thing...but it would've been a jackass-ish thing to say.

OK OK it's time for the Duck fan to answer the questions.

Yes #24 in the clips is terrence whitehead. Yes he ran a 4.75, he's a power back who makes great cuts and can catch out of the backfield. In switching to the spread offense the running game got far underused resulting in poor stats for a great back.

Yes #28 is Jonathon Stewart a freshman, and he will easily be a first rounder when he comes out, he's a freak athlete, i think he's around 230 and ran a 4.3 with a 40 some inch vert kinda the RB version of Vernon Davis.

The other #24 wore #20 last season, Jeremiah Johnson, he is also going to be a good back.

I thought Demetrius Williams #6 would have been a much better choice to play WR than Brad Smith he fell from the 2nd round to the 4th and was on the board when the Jets picked.

Watch all these, Fresno St. game is excellent, as is the Houston game. He throws a deep ball to an inexperinced reciever for a TD in the Washington St. game.

Nothing Jackass-ish about what I said. I didn't say I am glad he was injured...simply saying we are lucky to have him.

I don't know what experts you guys are hearing that his arm is above average, but the analysts i watch say that is arm is strong, and that its not just above average.

Yeah, Clemens clearly has a strong arm. Alot stronger than I thought.

63 yards is a long F'n throw period let alone connecting on it...

^i seen him make 25-30 yard throws on the run, hitting his target with accuracy.

He was a steal, and will be a real good QB.

How bad did Montana lose that game. Nice promo clip of 24 he looks great and Clemens throws and pocket presence were on.

Obviously, the Jets FO thought his arm was more fit for the Meadlowlands than Leinarts. This kid by no means has a weak arm, I've seen him play plenty. Good find!

good point, thats what else i like about him, he moreso uses mobility within the pocket to buy time or make a good on the run throw ala McNabb/Roethlisberger

im not even going to begin to compare him to either one cuz hes not them, but it is a positive quality to have. AND if he does tuck in the ball he knows his limits and wont try to make highlight reels, just a first down and any clear field yardage.

One more time, 24 was Terrence Whitehead. He's actually converting to FB in the NFL.

Also, just a random fact here, Clemens was the first Quarterback taken in the second round in FIVE YEARS. Last ones were back in 2001 (Drew Brees, Quincy Carter, and Marques Tuiasisopo).

Lol, when I was watching that clip, i was like, man the running back was pretty decent.

That whole clip, and I only saw three passes that went further then 15 yards... eek.

Good job on finding the clip tho, like the song more tho. I wish I could be as positive about this guy like alot of you, but, i remeber who browning nagle was.

    Hey Slagan,

I can remember Browning Nagle as well. Couldn't qb to save his life. No pocket presence and made bad decisions with the ball. But he threw the prettiest spirals I have ever seen.

What make you think that Clemens will be anything like Nagle? He doesn't remind me of him at all. Of course it is only a highlight reel, but Clemens looks tough, accurate, with outstanding pocket presence. Clue me in, will ya?
