Our Jewish fans can explain the Yom Kippur deal, I believe the games must be completed before sundown?
Yeah the holiday starts at sundown, and because of the large Jewish population in NYC Metro, they adjusted both games so Jews can watch.
Well great then. I think it is a good move. Let's ring in the New Year with another convincing W!!!!!!!!
yeah, I remember the talking heads mentioning this a few weeks ago, but I forgot this was the weekend for that as well. As of now, I'm getting the Jets game, but Fox will have the Falcons vs. New England. It's the best game on the board, but we don't always get Titans games, even though they're our "local" team.
Well I hope this means that we get a good game at 4PM since we're not getting another game by default now. CBS or FOX has to pick one up, I'd think.
I'm actually a fan of both Jets & Giants. I'm also a fan of both the Yankees, and the Mets. I know.. I know.. I love sports. Don't judge me. Different divisions. I'm kind of upset about this. Jets vs Titans game should be better than Giants vs Tampa. So I'm gonna watch the Jets game, and dvr the Giants game. While watching the Jets game I'm gonna try to avoid any game breaks, or score scrolls to the Giants game. That gonna be next to impossible.
I actually meant to flip to the Mets game yesterday to see how few people were there, but totally forgot. Anyone know what the actual (not announced) attendance was for them? I'm thinking in the teens...
Every time I try to do this, someone ruins it. Last two times: I tried to do it with a Stanley Cup game. I tried to do it with Jets/Cheatriots. I actually told someone not to tell me what happened, and he interrupted me by telling me the result. Last year I did manage to do it with Jets/Cheatriots on a Thursday night.
