I noticed that when the O was on the field. The pats held up signs, I heard they had numbers on it. Presumably they were plays. Why were they allowed to do this? More Brady rules? I assume it is becuase he couldn't hear the play.
The signs had a number on them, just one and they looked like uniform numbers. My guess is the Pats were having trouble making switches on offense with all the crowd noise, so they held up signs to tell players to get off the field so they could be replaced. That's what it looked like to me.
ahhh okay. I was at the game, and I called someone to ask what they were. Just told me numbers. That makes sense that it was uniform numbers.
The Patriots will be doing this next week but for their offense. They will help Brady with the play clock.
perfectly legal..used by just about every college team and many high school teams. Its a way to singal in plays. Most of the time used as decoys too. kind of like having three guys signaling in plays at one time.
