i dont... harrison would have made him look stupid.. the last thing gholston needs to do is start talkin.. leave that to the proven vets on the team.. ghost has enough to deal with still trying to live up to being a 1st round draft choice.. he doesnt need anymore pressure to perform..
You were drafted 6th overall, Vernon....time to wield the Thunder & the Lightning.....and there's no better time for you to start doing that....then tomorrow. Make it happen, big fella
I am having dreams where Gholston kills a running back in the backfield. He better live up to my goddamn expectations this Sunday...
I was thinking about this yesterday. Gholston should have some real opportunities to lay a shot on Welker. I want to see if he does or wimps away like usual.
He's going to be covering wrs out of the slot? I thought the genuis of Rex was that he was just going to turn Gholston loose to get after the QB?
Welker catches a ton of balls within 10 yards of the line and out of the slot. I would hope if he isn't blitzing that Gholston is there to meet him. You just know Brady will be running out of the shotgun the entire game. As soon as Buffalo got close to him Monday night I don't think he took another single snap from under center on pass plays. If he does than it will be harder to get pressure and he will be checking down more often than ever.
I'd like to see Vern hit Welker a few times instead of always chasing him down from behind. I have a feeling that if Vern lives up to his "Ghost" moniker today, his career as a Jet will wind up to be a first contract and cya later.
A couple of big plays against the Pats today would go a long way in restoring fans confidence in the kid - let's hope it happens...
