If I had the resume Brady has I would only respect the team I lost to in the SB, he has beaten everyone else, why should he be concerned with teams that he has handled with ease in the past, I don't see what the issue is.

When the Jets make the Championship game beat the Pats and go on to win the SB then he will show us respect until that happens he is not concerned with the Jets and he should not be, the Jets have done nothing to the Pats absolutely nothing!

Are you kidding me Don, I know you have been a lifelong Jet fan like myself, the odds of us beating the Pats based on the amount of times we play them would surely swing in our favor at times, but this is not about that, it's about respect why would he respect us when the only serious competition he has gotten has been from the Steelers, Colts, Chargers in the Playoffs, the Pats have dominated the AFC east and the AFC they have trophies to prove it.

The Jets have been a winning team base on their record more times than not, 6 out of eight years since 2000, so I'm proud of that but what about taking it to the next level that's where respect comes in not just blabbing about embarrassing a team after the first week of football.

The Jets were 8-3 last year and how many quotes did you see from their players before that?..... exactly, none!

If we had a halfway decent DC we would have made the playoffs and who knows how much farther. We do not need to talk to be a respected team we need to win championships whether they are conference or the superbowl that's what gains respect and The Pats have them we don't.

I still think it's going to be a great game on Sunday as long as we can pound the run and hurry Brady we will win.

Come on Crom... this is going to be a war... the Jets will be very lucky to win. I don't think this is a game in which a Jets victory will be measured by the score. I think it's gonna be measured in how hard the Pats get hit. The Pats may win the game but they are gonna get a beating in the process. It'll be like the Gatti/Ward fights... both teams are gonna kick the shit out of each other but when they walk off the field the winner will respect the loser.

 

Yes we have, but what i think hes trying to say is we have yet to beat them in a meaningful game. the giants took both their undefeated season and their championship away from them in the same day.

I noticed the smirk as well. He really didn't say anything to far off the mark. We have had some epic battles over the years. The Texans were also predicted to have a good O this year. Overall he kept it short and tried not to put any emotion in it. Lets go out and hit him hard tomorrow and bring out some emotions that way.
