This was said by one of the guys from Scouts Inc. on the Jets Draft

Scouts, Inc.'s Keith Kidd: (5:57 PM ET ) The Jets have answered a lot of needs on their football team. Hopefully, they have gotten four starters on the first day of the draft in Ferguson, Mangold, Schlegel and Eric Smith.

Don't know if anyone else posted or saw this but i find this interesting

It could happen, when training camp starts no one is safe, every position will be open.

Schlegel has a lot of heart. He was a captian of the D's core of Ohio State. He CAN be a very good pick. He reminds me of a Bruschi type. Bruschi is not a very fast athlete either, and that is Schlegel's main negative from people. I think he will work out very well, and could be an amazing LB in time.

I can see the FO not liking Rhodes for their system, with Smith this looks like more competition at the position, where we really have none.

I don't know anything about Schlegel, but his draft profiles reek of Tedy Bruschi, all wrapped up in a blue collar. I think we'll have a lot of linebackers once training camp starts, though it doesn't look like it right now.

I think June 1st is going to start yielding some decent players this year and in the future.

Isn't this Smith guy almost identical in style to Maddox? Tough in the box type safety, great against the run struggles in pass coverage. Should be an interesting training camp in the secondary.

well in time I can only hope that we get 4 starters out of this draft. I mean D and Nick are a given and clemens should be one in time. Schlegel and Eric Smith being starters...???? We shall see.
