thats the problem with those pricks, they rotate personal and line them up in different places. I saw on a few plays on monday that their tight ends either baker or watson were spread out wide, so it'd be hard to get a middle linebacker over there to cover. they also go double tight end a lot. plus faulk is good at catching passes out of the backfield. they're tough no matter how you look at it. i hope our o line is up to the task of run blocking and we can have some good long drives. brady threw it 53 times last game, if we can make him do that again we'll have a good chance, especially if we sack and hurry him all day.
Revis is really really good, but Brady would be thrilled to see man to man on Moss. Last year, Mangina held Moss down by giving safety help over the top (Rhodes) on Moss all night. They need to double on Moss and be real physical with Welker at the line and Faulk coming out of the backfield. If they do that, the blitz can work because brady won't be able to check down quickly.
He had to double Moss, he was being covered by Old Man Law most of the game. It wasn't really much of a job to 'hold him down' though. Randy was dogging it almost the whole night.
The Bills, like one team two years ago, had it right by making Brady very uncomfortable in the first half. The Giants figured out that you can't let Brady go in at half time collect his thoughts and then not blitz him the second half. The first thing Brady needs to feel in the second half is the ground.
Don't let McKelvin return punts late when you are up less than 7. AYFKM? That loss was as embarrassing and dropping back to pass and getting stripped last year except their Olineman didn't get turned out like a 2 dollar ho by Ellis on is way to the goal line.
agree agree agree!!!!.....last year 2nd game perfect example... the more we blitzd the more screens and underneath dump offs to RB and MANGINA didnt adjust and kept F*n blitzing idiotically.....Rex will be much smarter
Disrupt Welker at the line of scrimmage. He is Brady's security blanket more than anyone else. Hit him at the line and Brady will check down which will leave just enough time to get some hits on him. I kind of like the Revis on Welker idea but I dont know if I trust Lito on Moss, even with the safeties coming over the top. I actually think Strickland might be quick and physical enough to deal with Welker when he lines up in the slot.
Kill....Tom....Brady... Watch out for the Welker screens, and get Moss out early because his immaturity will take him out of the rest of the game
The answer is to take out Welker so Brady doesn't have his short option and has to stand in the pocket longer with the ball and will take more hits.
