He will play wherever Mangini puts him. He also said he was a team player.

Don't you think during their "extensive" interview process that the Tangini combo should have brought this up to him?

This only furthers my belief that Michael Robinson was the target and the Jets could have landed him with the latter of the thid round picks, and we all know Eric Smith wasn't going anywhere before our 4th rounder.

Sounds like a potential problem and training camp cut.

although to be fair I could be going overboard on this, it's way too early to tell.

Brad Smith is the consummate TEAM PLAYER, and a 'high character' player to boot.

He will play WR if that's where the Jets put him...the Jets came to Mizzou to work him out, at WR. This discussion has already taken place.

I watched this kid make plays for the past three years, every Saturday. He is elusive, fast and fearless. I don't doubt the Jets try him out at PR also.

This was a GREAT pick...this kid is a playmaker, plain and simple.

For all we know Chad will not be ready to go next year at all, Brooks will get cut and Brad Smith will be our third string QB.

I like him coming in to camp with a chip on his shoulder. It'll make him work much harder at everything he does so he preserves his shot at QB if the breaks go his way.
