Just a heads up for those who care. The New York Jets have waived CB Marquice Cole. The announcement was made by general manager Mike Tannenbaum. Cole was waived to make room for the reinstatement of Shaun Ellis, who returns after serving his one-game suspension. Cole (5'10", 190) signed with the Jets as a free agent on Feb. 19. He made the 53-man roster and was inactive for the game at Houston. Cole was originally signed by Oakland as a rookie free agent on May 4, 2007, and was waived by the Raiders on Sept. 1, 2007. He spent time on the Tennessee and New Orleans practice squads. http://www.newyorkjets.com/news/articles/show/3239-cb-marquice-cole-waived looking forward to an even better performance from our defensive line and pressure off the right side (defenses left) as we welcome back the consistent Shaun Ellis.
Drew Coleman continues to hang on. We've been calling for his exile for like three seasons but he remains. He's probably the guy, not Pace, who watches you masturbate, caught RR and is blackmailing him.... Can't think of any other reason to keep him.
Cause Coleman would be swept up by NE and torured for info.... and I really dislike his play more than any JET for the last couple of YEARS! That said, Cue Pats signing Cole in.. 3...... 2......
Man, I wish the Pats would grab Coleman and take every bit of information he knows about the Jets' D.
