I dont know if I would call him a good punter. An average punter yes (and much better than we had previously), but lets not get crazy. lol

He did have some good punts today.

Weatherford is the one stopping me from starting my Jets franchise in Madden though. He isn't in the latest update (on another team or free agency, A.J. Trapasso is our punter).

It feels good to see a punter who knows how to angle a punt to not allow the punter to move around as opposed to someone who just wants to kick it as far as they can(With no hangtime....Looking at you Mr Hodges).

Good job by Mr Weatherford. Granted it was an in-dome stadium and it will be a different element when kicking at the Meadowlands next week but Steve did his job this week.

Graham averaged over 50 yards a kick today. I still think the Jets gave up on him too quickly.

Done in a humid condition in Zona. Its just so completely different to kick at the meadowlands(And other northeast cities) as opposed to places like NO and ARI where Ben has played in.

Maybe he's gone back to kicking it naturally. For some reason when he was at the Jets they tried to get him to change his kicking action and it fucked him up.

Ben pinned the 49ers at the 1 yard line once today. Lucky. Haha.

I loved watching Graham punt for the Jets, but towards the end of his Jets run, he was faltering badly. They had to get rid of him. And they couldn't keep two punters on the roster. They had to give him up and get a replacement. But he was fun to watch. Punters are not usually fun to watch, but he is.

That said, I am very happy that we have a stable punter. It's been a while.

What does that mean? We've had plenty of crappy punters who were more experienced than Weatherford.

Plus 40 average in good weather conditions with 2 inside the 20. That's good enough for me. As a poster said above, however, I want to see him at home before we crown him.

What I meant was that we know what he brings to the table, because he has a track record behind him. Whereas, if we chose to play someone with less experience, we don't know what to expect.

4 Punts 41.0 Yards a punt and some good average hangtime on them. Good holder too.

I trust Westie. He believes in both Weatherford and Folk.
