I just got home from my friend's house. One word: "ORALE!" We were going crazy all game long. Total domination on both sides of the ball. What impressed me about Sanchez (amongst other things) is the way he got instant amnesia over his INT. Snapped back immediately. I couldn't believe I was watching a rookie NFL debut. Dare I say it out loud that he's the real thing? 192 yds. on 3rd down conversions - 9 (!) His poise and pocket presence is hard to believe. CAN'T be a fluke. And our defense, man, they came out flying from the word go. Kris Jenkins threw people around like ragdolls. Harris? Total badass. Westerman, Scott, Strickland, it was a group beatdown. Blitz, blitz, blitz, and the hits were awesome. Calvin Pace and Shaun Ellis who? It's all uphill. I don't expect to win next week, but I don't expect to LOSE like I always do when we face the Patriots. Probably just the rosy glow of the WAY the Jets won, but I'll feel really pleased for a week for all the of the right reasons. If the Jets do badly next Sunday, I still won't feel as badly as I ordinarily do.
I believe Jones had 102. Funny thing, I had a choice between my Jones jersey and my Rhodes jersey. I went with Jones. I guess it wasn't such a bad idea! Rhodes had a good game, too. Oh, and Revis. Revis. Revis.
I politely disagree.... this was a team(houston) with some real starpower, we were 5 point dawgs, and we were on the the road..... thats a tough win!!!!!:wink:
I love the postgame interviews... everyone is focused and determined to win (especially Sanchez & Ryan) just one critic.... HOW THE HeLL DO THESE GUY WEAR ?
And how many times did bad play calling (running on 1st down against 9 int box) put him in a bad sitch? Amazing play by #6.....
