Texans declared third QB Dan Orlovsky, WR Kevin Walter, TE Anthony Hill, DL DelJuan Robinson, C Chris White, C Antoine Caldwell, DB Jacques Reeves and DB Eugene Wilson inactive. Orlovsky lost out to Rex Grossman for the backup QB job. Walter's hamstring wasn't good enough to go, so Andre' Davis will get the start. Source: The Texans on Twitter From Rotoworld
well we get a little break today with Kevin Walter out. Time for Lito to step up and shut down #3 Andre Davis. Then we can pretty much double up on Johnson with Revis/Rhodes. Yes even against that duo, Johnson will get his, but he won't get the homerun play on us. That has to give our defense a big boost. Which I think combined with our huge advantage in the running game gives us our best shot to win this game that we could have asked for with 2 of our top defenders out.
Yes! No Walter makes me quite happy. I'm a bit confused about Greene being inactive. Apparently we're not going to be quite as run heavy as we had all assumed. Nothing like tossing your new QB out there. The old coaching staff never would have been this sink or swim.
Really? I'd say Revis, Jenkins, Scott, Harris, and Rhodes are just as good as Ellis and Pace. Holy shit our defense is good.
Texans secondary is very suspect. I want to see a lot of high percentage passes to Keller and Leon to get them into the second level, but especially without Wilson, all they have is Dunta and three jabronis.
You could still see a heavy running game with TJ and Leon. Without Shonn though its IMPERATIVE that either TJ gets it going early or Leon breaks a nice 20 yarder early on.
while I don't think Leon needs to break a 20 yarder but you are right we have to get the run going on the first drive and show Houston that even with a rook behind center we mean bussiness.
