So we got back every pick we traded for Clemens and then some. These guys have been brilliant so far.
This must mean we have targetted another 7th round/FA type player. There is no worry he will be taken so we can trade down. Looking at this draft so far I am having a hard time understanding why we need non 6th and 7th round picks as it seems from the 3rd round on we only target 7th round players.
Leon Washington and Brad Smith were okay picks, but I have a hard time seeing who else of value (at one of our need positions) we will be targetting when we pick

I had less of a problem with Washington and Smith. My question about these two picks is do they fit on our team. Washington means most likely we will have to cut Blaylock. He is not a full time back but more a 3rd down back. He takes Blaylocks place as a speedy change of pace type back. Smith just means one more possession WR without speed. While Smith is said to have good speed for a QB he does not have it for a WR. What we really lacked at WR is a burner. Add Smith to Coles, Cotchery, MCCariens. Another possession WR. I don;'t see the need for either when there were lots of quality players out there that could have filled holes and competed for a starting job.
Jets may have been targeting OCallagan, the RT from Cal but he went off the board at 136. Dallas must have wanted to get the Safety Watkins out of FL. Jets get the Ramsey pick back and trade down to a player of similar value.nice. If life hands you spilt milk, dont cry make lemonade,,,is that how it goes?
Hahaha. Do you come up with your own material? Buttle's right to a certain extent. Smith and Washington are both very good players without a role on the Jets as it stands now. Smith will not be a contributor for a year or so and I have a feeling that our depth chart may thin out a little bit by then. Washington on the other hand we do have a spot for. If Blaylock is cut we have Cedric Houston and Leon Washington to compete for second string, and each bring a different set of skills to change the pace.
