Just took it out of the mailbox. Rex Ryan, Darrelle Revis (some blood on his jersey), Nick Mangold, & Bart Scott on the cover. Ryan blurb: "I want a group of guys that does something that makes history." Er, just what type of history? That could go either way, pal. I do like this comment from Bart Scott, though. "I always felt coming into the league, I was the underdog. So what better place for the underdog than with the original underdog?" I'll scan in some shots later.
Oh bite me! I get my tix, yearbook almost a week after you every year. So, how long have you and the mailman had your "special arrangement"...
Agreed on some level. A good proportion of the guys are already gone, and their jersey numbers are all wrong. Mmmm, just happy that the season is about to begin. I used to post the Previews and the Reviews in the days of old. Gets me ramped up just to see a Jets uniform in September.
Haha, abyzmul. Kris Jenkins, Kris Jenkins, Kris Jenkins. You used to drive me crazy! My Daddy had every yearbook there was starting from '72. Everything else got lost in a flood in our basement in Queens. I have '65 & '66 which miraculously got saved, but I trashed everything else when my folks died. I was mad cleaning out their place, and I didn't want to see them. Because I was mad. My infamous temper, it was why my Daddy loved me in the first place, but I was sorry for ditching them as soon as the trash came and took them off the curb. Oh, well.
He probably didn't get to eat an entire flock of sheep for breakfast, so he's mad. I like mad. I was really excited when he came to the team. Nothing like a fat slob in the middle.
I just got one in the mail too, for my birthday. It's pretty sweet but nearly the entire thing is just the roster. So it doesn't take long to get thru.
