I don't know about his character issues, but this guy seems like he would be the perfect pick for us if available in the 4th. He should provide an instant upgrade over the mighty pouhe.

I wouldn't be opposed to picking another o line prospect though, as there seems to be great value to still be had in o'callaghan, gilles, etc.

He has the kiss of death tag on him... 'lazy'. Jets made a desperate pick a few years ago on a similar DT because of dire need.. Gabe Watson looks like this drafts Alan Harper.

I would have no problem picking Giles as a nice finishing touch to our o line...i know he has weight issues and may not be quick enough, but this is the 4th round and i think he's a great value here.

Watson has monster talent but no motor, no reason to think he'll start to work hard now. That said this late, I could see taking a shot.

to be honest i could care less about the lazy talk. the guy is big and strong and is athletic . we dont need him to pass rush. we want him here to be a space eater and keep vilma clean. so he doesn go all ray lewis on us in one of his offseason interviews. most space eaters are lazy. you gon tell me ted washington and sam adamns arent lazy?

if Watson is there we have to get him, i dont care if he is lazy, he has lots of talent and worth the risk as a 4th rounder(and we have 2 4th rounder). i hope we get Watson and Giles with our 2 4th rounder.

I agree, but if he isn't gone we need to pick him. We need a big hog to plug the middle of our 3-4 and he is it. Issues, so what, we drafted Coles didn't we. Give the guy a change. Who else is goning to plug the middle?

    Robertson, LMAO!

I agree Completely, those are the two platers I desperately want in the next round. I don't care if Watson is lazy, I just want him to be massive and stand there like every other NT in the 3-4. I really wish we picked Gilles or Watson with our last 3rd round pick though, a SS?!?!?! Why?!!?

The guy wasn't good on the college level and he has a piss porr work ethic. What makes you think he would be good on the next level where the game is stronger and faster? Just because a guy is 340 pounds doesn't mean he will be a good tackle. I hope the Jets stay away from this guy and I expect they will because of character issues. There's no reason why this guy would be any better than Pouha.

UGHHH....I can't beleive we missed out on Gilles and Watson. I would have been happy with at least one of them. But No we had to pick some No name SS in the 3rd and Some No Name WR in the 4th. They better be seeing something that i'm not, because we really needed a NT and another guard for competition and the future.

You have the Love the Cardinal draft so far. Value for all 4 picks. I am not a Leinart fan but good value at 10. Luiti in the second round. Pope Great value in the third. Watson in the 4th even better value. This is how you draft. The Jets FO should take lessons Arizona is showing people how to build a football team.
